01

Your right to be informed

You are entitled to know what we collect, why, who we share it with and how long we keep it. Our Privacy policy is that explanation. If anything in it is unclear, ask us.

02

Your right of access

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, along with the reasons we hold it. We will provide it within one month, in a readable format, free of charge unless the request is clearly excessive.

03

Your right to correction

If anything we hold about you is wrong or incomplete, tell us and we will correct it. You can change most account details yourself in the app.

04

Your right to erasure

You can ask us to delete your personal data. We will do so unless we need to keep it, for example order records we must keep for tax law. Deleting your Babi account removes your app data, including your baby's readings, within 30 days.

05

Your right to restrict or object

You can ask us to pause how we use your data while a question is settled, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests or to direct marketing. We stop marketing to you as soon as you ask.

06

Your right to data portability

Where we process data you gave us by automated means, you can ask for it in a structured, machine readable format so that you can take it elsewhere.

08

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you using automated processing that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you. Alerts in the app are triggered by the thresholds you set yourself, and they are not decisions about you.

09

How to make a request

Email info@babisit.com with the subject line Data request, say which right you want to use, and give us the email address on your account. We may ask you to confirm your identity so that we do not release data to the wrong person. We reply within one month. If a request is complex we may take up to two further months, and we will tell you if so.

10

How to complain

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data or your request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you are in the UK, or to the data protection authority in your own country if you are in the European Economic Area. We would rather you told us first so that we can put it right.

Want to use one of these rights?

Email info@babisit.com and a person will reply, usually within one working day.
